Wausau Child Care's Summer Camp program is held at two convenient locations − Franklin Elementary School and John Marshall Elementary School. The Camp hours for both locations are 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The dates for the Summer Camps are June 12 through August 16.
There are fun-filled activities, field trips and sports clinics. Children will have arts & crafts time, play games and attend dance classes, sign language classes, cooking classes and exploring/hiking classes (classes held are determined by number of children interested in each one). There will be visitors to the Summer Camps from the Wausau Police Department, the Red Cross, the Marathon County Historical Society and a Meteorologist from one of the local TV stations.
