Miss Denise has worked in childcare for 10 years. She joined Wausau Child Care in February 2007. Prior to coming to WCC, Denise worked at a variety of centers throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. Throughout her Early Childhood career, she has held the positions of Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher, Scheduler/AdministrativeAssistant, Interim Director, and Assistant Director. Denise graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay in December 1999 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development, emphasizing in Child and Family studies.
Miss Denise was married in August 2007 and is the proud mother of a beautiful little girl named Savannah. Denise is expecting her second child in April of 2010.
Miss Denise has completed her Infant, Child & Adult CPR certification. She is also a certified trainer of Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention. In addition, Denise has completed Child Abuse & Neglect Awareness training and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Awareness & Prevention training.
