Miss Sue grew up in Athens, WI in a large family of nine children – four brothers and four sisters. She now lives in Mosinee with her husband John, son Dylan and daughter Melaney. Sue began working in her first childcare center in Marshfield, WI in 1986 and joined the Franklin Street Center in 1988. She has worked with many different age groups throughout this time period, including preschool ages 2-5 years as well as school age children. Sue was the Lead Teacher in the Teddy Bear Room for 10 years prior to becoming the Assistant Director in 2002 and Center Director in 2009.
  
Miss Sue has completed her Early Childhood 1 and Early Childhood 2 certification through NTC as well as Infant & Toddler and School Age Certificates through programs taught here at Wausau Child Care. She also achieved her Child Development Associate through NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), and in 2005, earned the Administrators Credential through UW Milwaukee. Miss Sue has also completed training in Child Abuse & Neglect, CPR, First Aid, SIDS Prevention, and Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention.
