Miss Melissa grew up in Tomahawk, WI where she started her child care career at Tomahawk Child Care. She worked with the school age program during the summer of 2007. She now lives in Wausau where she received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northcentral Technical College.

Melissa has been with Wausau Child Care since August of 2007. While attending school, she took the position of Assistant Teacher, working in the school age program at Wausau Child Care. In 2008 she became lead teacher at the South Mountain facility. She became the Assistant Director at Franklin St. in April of 2009. In March 2010, Melissa accepted the position of School Age Program Assistant Director. During Melissa’s free time she enjoys taking walks, scrap booking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Melissa has also completed training in Child Abuse & Neglect, CPR, First Aid, SIDS Prevention, and Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention.
